A new date has been set for the Honomu Henjoji Mission’s annual bazaar and rummage sale. The bazaar was postponed because of weather-related reasons earlier this month as Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ana approached the Big Island.

The Rev. Clark Watanabe and members of the congregation invite the community to stop by the popular annual event from 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Honomu church, also known as the Odaishisan.

“As always, the bazaar/rummage sale will have all types of household items, clothing, plants and much more,” said Kyodan Secretary Sandra Sasao. “The food booth will have maki sushi, baked goods, nishime and chili.”

Proceeds from this benefit will go toward the maintenance of the temple.
